On October 9th, we were back in our familiar stomping grounds of Laguna Beach for the engagement portrait session of Crystal Kinn and Michael Whitaker. They will be tying the knot on April 3rd at the beautiful Pala Mesa Resort in Fallbrook.

As you may have noticed, we hate the boring old Sears Portrait Studio-style stiff posed shots inside in front of a plain (or cheesy) backdrop. Rather, we prefer to get everyone outside in the fresh air having a good time and catch people (especially the kids) being themselves.
