On Saturday, May 29th, my sons’ progressive rock band, Diminishtry, performed at the world famous Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, CA. Josh (18, guitar) and Brandon (15, drums) along with Drew Howard (15, bass) got to step on the same stage as music greats like The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Guns ‘n’ Roses, Van Halen, and Mötley Crüe. And, they rocked the [...]

My wife Rachel and I are fans of the old style of portraiture where everyone looks serious. Those type of portraits started out that way in the old days when you had to sit still for a long time while the camera sucked in enough light to make the exposure. Rachel and I had a great time working with Helena and Jay. Their pictures look fantastic, and we [...]

Then, we drove to a nearby field to take some fun shots of her before she finally sends [...]

Yesterday (Saturday, May 1st), was the Senior Prom for Murrieta Valley High School. My son Josh and his date, Rochelle, along with Rochelle’s sister, Cassie, and her date (and Josh’s buddy), Danny, all went together.
After they got their flowers in order at the house, we all went out to a nearby field for some not-so-classic pre-Prom portraits. The wind was blowing like mad. So, [...]
