Kimberly + Tony : Mission San Juan Capistrano
On Sunday, February 5th, I was at the Mission San Juan Capistrano to photograph an engagement portrait session for Kimberly White and Tony Checchia. I’ll be photographing their wedding on May 1st, 2011 at Etiwanda Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. I have photographed at the mission a couple times before, so I already had some specific spots in mind that I was looking forward to photographing Kimberly and Tony in.
Kimberly was having a blast, and was smiling and laughing so much that it was contagious! Tony started out ever so slightly camera shy. But, just a few shots into the session and he was playing his own game of making funny faces to crack up Kimberly — or trying to get her to touch a fish in the Koi pond (and Kimberly is not too fond of touching live Koi, it turns out).
They were such a fun couple to photograph, and were so clearly in love, and their love is evident in this short video of the day:
Congratulations Kimberly and Tony! See you on May 1st!

Loren and Rachel,
I don’t even know where to begin! I was blown away with the images that you created for Tony and I, they were way beyond what I ever expected!! They are gorgeous and everyone who has seen them is just in awe! The shoot was so much fun and working with you Loren – it was so relaxed and everything just seemed to flow. As for the video you made for us, I was in tears – it is truly amazing. All the women at my work had tears in their eyes and our mom’s; wow needless to say the waterworks were there! Everyone who has watched it absolutely loves it. People even said they want to get married again so they can have one
. Thank you so so so much for everything and we are very much looking forward to you shooting our upcoming wedding!!
