Ashley + Mark : Mount Palomar Winery Wedding

On July 23, 2012, our studio photographed a rare Monday wedding at Mount Palomar Winery in Temecula Wine Country. This wedding was photographed by Annie and I (Rachel), Annie as lead and me assisting. We met bride Ashley Perkins in the bridal suite to capture a few candid moments followed by some beautiful bridal portraits before she was to meet her fiance, Mark Symons, at the altar. The intimate ceremony started just shortly after 11am, and was witnessed by 20 of their closest family and friends, including Ashley’s sweet mom who got a little emotional during the vows. The ceremony ended just shy of the weather really heating up! We spent some time taking family pictures, and got some fabulous pictures with the children hamming it up. And then it was on to the couple’s portraits of just Ashley and Mark.

Mount Palomar has some of the nicest landscaping for portraits! We took advantage, moving around the grounds to take as many photo opportunities as possible. By the time we got into the vines, the sun was BLAZING. But, Mark was a real trooper and put up with posing in the heat in his black suit! After finishing the couple’s portraits, we did a few quick ring shots and then Ashley and Mark were off to a private (air conditioned) family luncheon at Mount Palomar’s Shorty’s Bistro.
