BEFORE
The BEFORE image on the left was taken under professional studio lighting with the model wearing medium coverage foundation and natural looking eye, lip and cheek makeup. This is a typical image taken straight out of the camera and has not benefited from any type of editing or retouching. Unedited images are known as Proof Images. The model is a very pretty girl, and on it's own, this image is a pretty shot. However, as you can see from the side-by-side comparison, our editing process takes your Proof Images from Pretty to Beautiful to 'WOW'!
AFTER: BASIC EDITING
Basic Editing, as shown in the first AFTER image, includes standard color correction, basic skin smoothing, and the removal of any major distractions such as blemishes or fly away hairs on the face. All final images receive this type of editing, so every print ordered through Loren Scott Photography will look polished and naturally beautiful.
AFTER: FULL RETOUCHING (aka 'Digital Plastic Surgery')
The 'WOW!' factor of the AFTER image on the right is available on our custom-level prints. Custom-level prints receive full custom retouching (aka 'Digital Plastic Surgery') which includes airbrushing for a flawless complexion, custom color correction with enhanced lighting effects, and digital body sculpting as needed in order to enhance (or correct) body, face, makeup and hair. This AFTER sample benefited from not only minor body sculpting around the shoulders, arms and breasts, but a brightening of the eyes and skin, adjusted lip color, hair color correction at the roots, a slight reshaping of the hair, and the removal of fly-away hairs.

BLACK AND WHITE
The color image is converted to grayscale and then adjusted for contrast, brightness, sharpness, and clarity for a crisp, dramatic b/w image.
PLATINUM BLACK AND WHITE
An elegant, more dramatic version of black and white, this effect features deep black shadows and a warm gray tint.
CROSS-PROCESS
This effect simulates an old darkroom trick of film photographers where the film of one type is processed using chemicals intended for a different type of film, resulting in offbeat, highly saturated colors.
LOMO VIGNETTE
This effect mimics the striking colors, high contrast, and strong vignette of vintage LOMO cameras.
SOFT GLOW
Synonomous with traditional glamour photography, the soft filter effect has been updated to this more modern digital effect, giving the image a romantic, dream-like glow without loss of focus.
VINTAGE GOLD
Inspired by the look of aged photographs, this custom effect gives an elegant, antiquated appearance through the use of subdued colors with a rich gold tint. |
