On May 20th, we were at the Murrieta home of one of our 2008 wedding photography couples, Cheryl and Jim Stark, to photograph the first portraits of their newborn son, J.T.

Since Jim is a firefighter, in addition to the usual baby shots, we also worked his firefighters turnouts into some of the shots.

Besides being a wedding photographer, I am a newlywed myself, having just gotten married on December 4th of last year. My wife, Rachel, got her wedding dress from Lovee’s Bridal in Temecula. On November 15th, Natalie Rivera came into the studio for her maternity portraits. She was such a natural in front of the camera, it was as if she were born a model. She had seen shots from many of my previous maternity portrait sessions that she wanted to recreate for herself, and we also created many brand new shots just for her.
