Loren Scott began his formal photography education way back in 1978 in his Sophomore year of High School in Photo Lab class — shooting, developing, and printing with 35mm film and medium-format film cameras. He photographed his first wedding in 1982 at age 19.
With his wife, Rachel, Loren ran a successful and highly-recommended Wedding & Portrait photography studio in the Temecula Valley area of Southern California from 2005 until his retirement from the industry at the end of 2014. During that period, Loren photographed over 270 weddings and thousands of portrait sessions for clients in California, Arizona, Nevada, Indiana, Hawaii, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Loren taught photography at Mt. San Jacinto College in Menifee, California for five semesters just before he relocated from SoCal to central Indiana at the end of 2014.
Loren Scott now lives in Franklin, Indiana with his wife, Rachel, and their two dogs and five cats.
